Orkney Islands

Early on the 2/7/2010 my brother met us on Skye - he had flown up from the south of England, hired a car and came to pick us up on Skye.
A well worked out tour showed us more of Skye before we headed north to the Orkney Islands. An amazing place - beautiful sunsets, wild winds, cold rain and stormy seas. Ancient Neolithic standing stones, homes and graves. Beautiful seaside villages and towns, wicked earls and their mansions and a beautiful cathedral dedicated to a noble Norse lord.
A very special place and well worth the long trip north to get there. Also awesome to spend more time with my brother.
